Katie and Thomas are such a fabulous couple to work with. I really can’t wait for their wedding in Boston in September. They came to me and knew exactly what they wanted for their engagement shoot, and Katie being the very talented crafty and love of all arts and design kind of gal brought all kinds of fun props for their session. I was so smitten with this lovely couple and all their creative ideas. We started off at the Carl Schurz Park in Yorkville which is one of the prettiest parks I have ever been to in the city. Katie brought bubbles, her awesome polaroid camera cause she loves photography, and balloons. Seriously, how cute are they! From there we went to the James Duke House which was another beautiful location. The house is one of the great extant mansions from “Millionaire’s Row.” James Buchanan Duke was one of the founding partners of American Tobacco Company and the owner of Duke Power. This amazing building was built in 1912, so you can just imagine the architecture in this place. Beautiful! I really couldn’t have asked for a more delightful day with such a fun couple. Check out their engagement session below. These are some of my favorite images from the day.
Thank you again Katie and Thomas for such a fun day.
